Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer for The One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they also participated in the Battle of Bands 2010. Although he has always been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or physical therapist. In the past, he was employed part-time in a bakery within his town with the aim of helping people financially in the home. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the auditions of 2010 for The X Factor. The reason for this was the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they formed in 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders for the prize. The group was placed in third position just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which were the winners. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. However, Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
