Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a performer, writer, director and producer. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written the show, directed it and even starred in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson, her artistic younger sister. Benson was raised in a Reform Synagogue with the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson, who has been involved in numerous TV and movie series in the years since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar.
