Alicia Silverstone and Alyson Michalka
Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976, at Hillsborough, California to Monty Silverstone and Deidre Radford. She also has half-siblings who come from the marriage to her father. She grew up with an average middle class family in San Francisco. Early in her life as a child, she got into modeling and later became the lead in her debut TV commercial for Domino's Pizza. Silverstone was a student at Crocker Middle School and San Mateo High Schools. In 1992 she played her first role that was credited to her in the TV show The Wonder Years. The show was highly praised for her performance by both critics and audience members, and won an award. In the same year she appeared in two of Aerosmith's video music clips Cryin as well as Amazing. She appeared in television movies including Torch Song in 1993 and Scattered Dreams. In 1994 she had a leading role in the TV drama Cool and the Crazy. Her role as Cher in the cult sleeper film Clueless gave her the first big break an actor.
